During this trip you will visit 3 southern parks of Kenya. You will start your safari in Tsavo East, where you will stay one day. You will continue to Amboseli, famous for its large herds of elephants, with the background of Kilimanjaro. You will have one full day to enjoy this beautiful park. Via Taita Hills you will drive to Diani Beach where you have 5 days to relax at a resort on the coast of Kenya.
Day-to-day program
Day 1: Departure from your country – Mombasa – Tsavo East
Upon arrival in the morning at the airport in Mombasa, you will be picked up by your driver. You will depart towards Tsavo East National Park, part of the largest national park in Kenya. The park is known for the “red elephants”. They get their colour from the red soil in this area. The surface of Tsavo East is essentially flat and covered with low, dry vegetation and baobab trees.
You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge in Tsavo East. In the afternoon you will make your first safari!
In the evening you can enjoy the dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast you will depart towards Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is located at the foot of the Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Amboseli is famous for its large herds of elephants. The park is also home to many lions, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest, as well as various species of monkeys, jackals, antelopes, hyenas and many species of birds.
Amboseli is the homeland of the Maasai population.
You will arrive in time for lunch and make a game drive in the afternoon.
In the evening you can enjoy your dinner and overnight at the tented camp, where you will stay on Full Board basis.

Day 3 : Amboseli National Park
You will have a full day to enjoy Amboseli. You can discuss your program for today with your driver. In addition to the game drives in the park you can optionally visit a Maasai village bordering the park: a nice way to learn more about this special and ancient culture!

Day 4: Amboseli National Park – Taita Hills
After breakfast you will depart towards Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Taita Hills is a private sanctuary, bordering Tsavo West National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch. In the end of the afternoon you will make a game drive in search of members of the BIG FIVE in Taita Hills!
In the evening you can enjoy the dinner and overnight at the lodge, where you will stay on Full Board basis.

Day 5: Taita Hills – Mombasa
With hopefully many great memories and adventurous experiences of your safari you will travel today to the beautiful coast of Kenya. You will make a lunch stop en route.
You will stay at Diani Beach, south of Mombasa. In a beautiful seaside resort you can relax and recover from your safari.
Overnight:
Type A: Diani Sea Resort ***+ (All Inclusive)
Type B: Leopard Beach Resort & Spa ****+ (Half Board)
Day 6 – 9: Diani Beach
You can relax on the beautiful beach of Diani Beach, or at the swimming pool at your resort. There are as well many excursion possibilities in Diani Beach. You could do a one-day city tour to Mombasa, visiting for example Fort Jesus and the Old Town. Haller Park and Mamba Village are two other tourist attractions in Mombasa. You could also visit Wasini Island, book snorkelling/diving trips and water sport activities in Diani. If you would like to receive any information about one of these excursions, please let us know.

Day 10: Departure from Diani Beach back home
Depending on your flight schedule, you will be picked up at your hotel for your transfer back to the airport in Mombasa for your flight back home.
