Steep cliffs of the Rift Valley surround Lake Bogoria. It is a salt-water lake with many flamingos. Geothermal activity in the form of hot springs and geysers are located on the western shore. Lake Bogoria has the largest number of geysers in Africa. Please be careful as the water is hot enough to boil an egg!
