A complete safari where you will visit the most important parks in North Tanzania. You will start in Tarangire National Park, where you will spend 2 nights. The next day you will travel to the famous Serengeti National Park, known for the annual Migration. You will spend 3 nights in the Serengeti, so you will have enough time to enjoy this beautiful park. Your trip continues to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, worlds largest intact crater, which is home to more than 25.000 large animals. Your last safari day will be at Lake Manyara National Park, a park with a beautiful lake on the foot of the Great Rift Valley. The park is well known for the tree-climbing lions.
After your safari you will fly to Zanzibar, a beautiful tropical island belonging to Tanzania, an ultimate beach holiday destination.
You will be picked up at the airport in Arusha and brought to your hotel, where you will stay on B&B basis.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Today your safari begins! After breakfast your driver will pick you up and drive towards Tarangire National Park. It is the vast number of baobab trees that first capture the eye as you enter the park.
Next to the enormous baobab trees the park is characterized by rolling hills, the permanent Tarangire River, swamps and acacias.
Tarangire has a high density of wild animals, including some special species such as elands, oryx and giraffe gazelles. The game park has a relatively large population of African elephants. There are also many buffalos, wildebeest, impalas, kudus, zebras, ostriches, lions and leopards living in the area. In the dry season the animals assemble at the marshes for fresh drinking water, which is a grandiose spectacle. With more than 550 different bird species the park is a real bird paradise as well.
You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge/tented camp, where you will stay on Full Board basis.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast you will depart with picnic boxes for a full day game viewing at Tarangire National Park. At the end of the afternoon you will return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Today you will drive to Serengeti National Park, the best-known park in Tanzania. The Serengeti covers an area of 14.800 km2, most of which is grass plains. This park got its name from the Maasai word Siringitu, meaning endless plain. The park is home to 3 million animals, which includes big game like lions, leopards and cheetahs, but as well elephants, gazelles, impalas, giraffes, buffalos and topis. The game drives in this park are exceptional and game viewing incredible.
The annual migration of millions of zebras and wildebeest is a real spectacle. But also the other months of the year the Serengeti is definitely worth a visit.
The Serengeti has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981!
You will have a picnic lunch en route. At the end of the afternoon you will arrive at your lodge/tented camp, in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Today you will make an early morning game drive. This is the best time to spot animals while hunting, though you need to be lucky! Afterwards you will return to the lodge/camp for full breakfast. After breakfast you can enjoy the facilities at the lodge/camp. After lunch, in the late afternoon, you will make another game drive.
In the evening you can enjoy the dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park
Today is the last day in the Serengeti. You have a choice between a full day game drive with picnic lunches or do a morning game drive and evening game drive with served lunch at the lodge/camp.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast drive back through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, via Olduvai Gorge Site Museum. You will have a picnic lunch en route. At the end of the afternoon you will arrive at your lodge/farm house, where you can enjoy the dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you will drive to the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro was formed about two million years ago. The crater measures an average of 18 kms in diameter, about 600m vertical drop and covers an area of 260 km². It’s home to more than 25.000 large animals, making it the park with the highest concentration of animals in the world. The crater is one of the prime areas to observe the endangered black rhino and black manned lions. Other game in the Ngorongoro Crater includes leopards, cheetahs, elephants, monkeys, zebras, gazelles, buffalos, wildebeest, hippos and many species of birds including flamingos on Lake Magadi.
The animals can walk in and out of the crater, but most have selected this fertile habitat as their permanent residence.
Ngorongoro Conservation Area has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979.
Lunch will be taken as picnic during your game drive in the crater.
At the end of the day you will drive out of the crater and drive back to the lodge/farm house.

Day 9: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The park is nestled between the rock formations of the Great Rift Valley.
When you drive into the National Park, you can imagine yourself in a tropical jungle full of monkeys, waterfalls, babbling brooks and crystal clear water and hot springs. The road leads you on through the forest to open grasslands, woods, marshes and eventually Lake Manyara. The park is home to large herds of elephants, buffalos, impalas, hippos, giraffes and a wide variety of small animals.The park is also known for the tree-climbing lions.
Thousands of flamingos can be found on the shores of the lake. Together with the nearly 500 other species of birds this park is a must see for bird lovers.
You will make a full day game drive in the park, and lunch will be taken as picnic.
In the late afternoon you will leave the park and drive to the lodge, where you will stay on Full Board basis.

Day 10: Transfer to Arusha – departure to Zanzibar
After breakfast you will leave the lodge and drive towards Arusha. You will be dropped at Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival you will be picked up and brought to your beach hotel, where you will spend 4 nights.

Day 11 – 13: Zanzibar

Day 14: Departure from Zanzibar back home
